Just a short note to let you know that something seems to have gone wrong with my latest upgrade to Wordpress 2.9. Not sure if this will effect my ability to blog. Will keep you updated
Edit: Okay panic over. Still a bit buggy but you will note there is a poll added to the sidebar.

Does the page load slowly from anyone else?
It loaded quickly, kiddo. I just upgraded to WP 2.9 tonight and initially had a few issues to work out with it but we survived the upgrade in spite of the bug.
was it a function implode error?
We were thinking of upgrading to 2.9 but my wife was afraid it would be buggy, it being the most recent and all. (She said they're sort of like Microsoft in that you don't want their very newest thing because there *will* be problems–it's best to wait a bit until they work things out before upgrading unless you really have to do it.)
So she just upgraded me to 2.88 or something like that and everything went all to hell so she took it down to a lower 2.8 version. Now we're just working a few kinks out.
But don't even get me started on the whole commenting system mess…
Yeah upgrading caused a glitch with my old template, but I was able to fix it with some help.
I like the new template, and I haven't had any delays with page loading. This is a very nice color scheme.
Must just be me, and the fact that my server is in the states probably doesn't help.
I really like your new layout. Some blogs load slow on my old computer but not yours. I think it's great!
Cheers. I was looking for a Steampunk, Neo-Victorian look. Still not happy with some of the features. Don't like the drop cap at the start of every new paragraph and the way it does block quotes. But I like the columns to the right.
