In the last week I reported that it appeared that Gloria Jeans, ardent supporter Mercy Ministries, had finally dropped support of the deliverance ministry focussed treatment facility. Indeed the article I commented seemed to imply that there had been no concerted support since October 2007.
My personal observations of collection boxes in a Pitt Street Mall franchise in July 2008 and readers who commented that they had seen them in Perth franchises at least a month prior to this posting seem to be suggesting that while Gloria Jeans may not have held a major event they were certainly acting as a collection point for donations, still supporting Mercy Australia wide it seems.
Then an astute reader managed to find this page on their Vietnamese site - tragically the people of Vietnam have suffered war and political upheaval and we deliver them crap coffee. Note the date on the page and the nice cosy little blurb about Mercy Ministries. Now this could simply be an error, poor upkeep of he website.
Or poor public relations.
I wonder if Marina Go is aware?
