Force really? The only place in Australia where I have found vaccines to be forced is at my local boarding kennel. I can only conclude that you are an international reader and are not aware of the situation in Australia. Alternatively you could provide some evidence that Australians are forced to take vaccines.

Often, it is the threat of a major outbreak that scares parents into allowing their children to be stuck! This is your opinion based on what? My parents vaccinated me because they grew up in a time when there were none and they saw the effects of say Polio, on their friends.

The one thing that I always do, and encourage others to do, is research, research, research This is good if people have the time and capacity to do so. Research though is not just reading, its critically analysing the material you have at hand. When that material is the questionable and downright deceptive information presented by the anti-vaccination organisations some people have not the training or ability to distinguish what is propaganda and what is quality medical information. Even then I have caught out well educated, articulate people misquoting/ misunderstanding research papers in support for their case.

There is certainly enough controversy regarding unsafe vaccines to motivate the demand for green vaccines. Show the evidence that a controversy outside of the anti-vaccination movement exists.

Also, we still don't know how strong many of our children's immune systems are and there is a possibility that some of these vaccines or a combination of them could be causing autism.

The vaccine/autism link has been thoroughly debunked over and over and over again, there is no evidence to back up this assertion. Your inclusion of it leads me to think that you have not been very thorough in your research.

Rather than specifically folliowing a website that because of a blog they create or an article meant to appeal to the masses, I encourage you to do your homework

The time I have wasted following links and double checking information provided to me by people that follow the religion of Anti-vaccination. You have stumbled upon this blog, assumed that I know nothing about vaccination, assumed that I don't read widely, assumed that I don't research. How about you step outside the alternative world you have created for yourself, do some real research, contact someone with expertise in the field.

There's lots of things parents worry about. What they generally do is see someone qualified to advise them. This I would encourage them to do, not to listen to half baked propaganda and misquoted or misunderstood information touted by organisations promoting expensive alt med tonics and snake oil. Love the emotive use of language – "sticking", its like your doing something mean , cruel or cold to your child.

Better safe than sorry and you child could thank you for it later.

Or they could die or be permanently disfigured from an easily preventable childhood disease. The safest option is to vaccinate(assuming that you are not one of the small percentage of people unable to be vaccinated) but nobody take my word for it, consult a medical expert (not a naturopath, nor homeopath, spirit healer, or Goji juice seller).

While parents experience is valuable, most parents are not trained to conduct double blind trials on vaccines. Educate yourself Daiden, which means doing some research into critical thinking and not blindly following AVN press releases.
