Deb Webber of Sensing Murder fame will be doing a show in Alice Springs. She is being billed as Australia’s answer to John Edward. She calls herself a Metaphysical Researcher(an attempt to give her credibility?) and for $77 she’ll talk to the dead. I do note that she’s a bit cheaper elsewhere. Must be to cover the flights
Now Sensing Murder tanked here in Australia apparently but our cousins in New Zealand picked it up and it was quite popular there.

I suppose a lot of people in Alice Springs will pay up and go along. And convince themselves afterwards that it was money well spent. In spite of my dabbling with various "new age" practices and beliefs over the years, this whole connecting with dead loved ones is something I just don't get. I think it's sad, and it says more about those people not yet coming to terms with grief.

I assume there's a video in that big white space I'm seeing? Is it the one BadPsychics pulls apart (Deb Webber in which Today Tonight (yes the same mob who routinely promote "psychics") decided to trick her and expose her banter as nonsense?

I have friend who is so convinced that Webber is the real deal that she starts screaming at me if I even suggest she may be the fraudulent con that she so clearly is.
I normally don't get hot under the collar over anything – but I have to admit that Webber's manipulation of vulnerable people makes me both sad and angry.
