Child Witches and Aid Funding

A friend recently sent me links to the videos below on Child Witches and Exorcisms in the Democratic Republic of Congo (a recipient of US foreign aid.)  Be warned the following ABC report contains images of child abuse in the name of Jesus.

Questions that come to mind:

1. The government recently removed the ban on foreign aid to oranisations that offer abortion, pehaps aid should be withdrawn from countries that refuse to tackle this problem?
2. Who bears resposibility for spreading the deliverence meme in Africa?
3. Where is the outright condemnation of child witches from such organisations as the Australian Christian Lobby -too busy worrying about the yet to be borns.  Or is it becaus they too believe in witches?

At the end of the first video the reporter says,” I am not going to contibute to child abuse” christians who read this should perhaps look into the projects they give to and  ensure that they aren’t either.

Does your church send aid to the DRC? Does your church support child abuse?

PS Catholics need not answer that last question.  :)
