Why is science so important? Part 10

Alom presents a video clip from Becky Parker. In it she stress why it is important for us as humans to quest , to search for understanding.  That the quest is a tradition, our heritage?

Some would rank science as humanity’s greatest achievement and that we are almost bound to carry on?

    I think science is our crowning achievement. We will carry on unless there is a collapse in the civilization before we can get colonies going elsewhere in the solar system.

  2. I think then we will truly be in control of our evolution when /if we can ensure that a nasty asteroid won't wipe out the human race :)
