freedom of choice and speech yes, however the AVN tell lies and spread misonformation about vaccines. They interpret statistics in an appaling manner, and by doing all of this they allow parents to believe lies and make UNINFORMED choices.

as for your belief that they do not tell parents what to do either way, I do believe that one of their slogans is “Love them, Protect them, NEVER inject them” is it not?

it is also an organisation that says that vaccines can cause SBS- which is otherwise known as Shaken Baby Syndrome… can you honestly support an organisation that supports the efforts of people trying to have their guilty verdicts overturned after they SHOOK THEIR INFANT by saying ‘oh no, it wasn’t that I shook them- it was the vaccines!’… despite all the coronors evidence to the contrary?

Yes I believe in personal choice as well. An informed personal choice based an evidence and not scaremongering. As to it being no one else's business – we are all part of a community, your decision not to immunize based on scaremongering could affect the life of someone else's child, a child who for medical reasons can't be immunized.

sure i understand that – we all want to live in disease free society but is that really a reality? We need disease to a degree in our lives to strengthen our immune responses. Can i ask why you say immune comprimised for unvaccinated kids? also is there any real proof that diseases like measles are back due to unvaccinated people or that its a new strain – as with the H1N1 etc…

i too am a member of the avn and it really saddens me that anyone has to be narrow minded about any issue really. Isnt that why Australia is loved by everyone in the world. Freedom of choice. No matter if we choose to not vaccinate, to vaccinate some diseases or to vaccinate all diseases i believe that it should be up to individual person/family and really its noone elses business. I am thankful of the avn's information as it it very thorough in its research and actually – if you take the time without the ignorance, it never judges those that choose to vaccinate and it never ever TELLS or intructs not to. It simply offers information that we all can read and take what we like from it. I believe its important that all sides of every story told without judgements, or making life hard for ANYONE or any organisation.
Really badgering anyone is simply continuing on withh schoolyard bullying.
Let the public choose what they wish to read about and take what they will.
