Smart CNUT

Those of you who watch Stilgehrian Live will already know that yours truly won the prize for

  1. Nominating a Cnut of the week
  2. Doing so before 8.30pm AEST
  3. Watching the show
  4. having my name drawn out
  5. Emailing the password BACON into Stil within 5 minutes

Those who didn’t know – well you should have been watching Stil.  Anywho .. the prize was a shirt by www.kingcnut.com an ethical clothing company in the UK.   The design is to the right.

Who was King Cnut? No googling.

    I shall abstain from commenting on who was King Cnut for now, for I do watch Stil's show & have insider information on the King. I also have a fondness for that particular part of history.

    The (Anglo-Saxon?) king who tried to hold back the tide. Usually misunderstood as an example of hubris and folly, but is really the king demonstrating to his subjects that powerful as he is, his power is naught compared to that of God.
