In this segment Alom talks with teachers of science. In the UK and perhaps in Australia science is made relevant for students or rather they are treated as consumers of science. Some argue that we are not actually preparing or nurturing students as potential scientists.
My most vivid memory of science class was our teacher accidentally setting his arm on fire while lecturing us on safety.
