Cameron Reilly interviews “Rogue Priest”

I have posted about Cameron Reilly before he is  CEO of The Podcast Network.

He really is one kick-arse gent.  He’s done interviews with Mercy Ministries Survivors, both here and in the US.  He’s an atheist, an entrepreneur and I really appreciate the work he does in bringing me  great content on his own podcast – the G’Day World  Show

I have been watching and listening intently to his video interview with the rogue priest Peter Kennedy.

Here is the first installment

Peter Kennedy, Rebel Priest – part 1 from Cameron Reilly on Vimeo.

Those Australian’s watching might want to consider passing on some of the governments stimulus bonus to Cameron here as a reward for the excellent work he does.

Cheers. I've been wondering for some time what Father Kennedy actually stood for, since most of the media coverage has been about that the Catholic Church stands against. Nice to be able to hear it from the horse's mouth.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised at his comments about his ignorance of what he was getting himself into when he became a priest. After all, the type of things the Vatican preaches seem a long way from the messages of charity, egalitarianism and respect that my devoutly Catholic grandfather cherished and tried to pass on to his family.

    • I wonder how many priests think like father Kennedy. I seem to recall Maher talking to a priest outside the Vatican who sounded very similar.

I can't remember if its in this video but he refers to the Catholic church as a club ie the clergy not necessarily the congregation.
