That's hilarious! Religion is so much a part of our background that it's easy to either overlook it or take it for granted. Atheism, on the other hand, has always been around but it's been in the closet (out of grave necessity, until recent times). So, when it comes into the open just a little bit more, religiobots feel like they're being overwhelmed. Well, some of them really do feel that way. Others just capitalize on those feeling for their own purposes (which usually involve power and/or money).
Chappy its much the same way with a lot of things, unless we step into another's shoes and try to see it from their point of view many just can't see the pervasive nature of religion. I walked into Woolworths(grocery chain) today and they had Lent tags above the fish. Now Easter and X-mas I can understand, but this was pandering to specific Christian denominations.
