Pat Condell has a new video out on the recent decision of Dutch courts to prosecute Dutch politician Geert Wilders.
Here’s Pat’s video
and here is part of the movie Fitna.
WARNING the end of this first part features a beheading and the Head being held up for the camera to see.
Is the video hate speech? Is it unfair in the connections it makes? To what extent should we be allowed to criticise and ridicule religions?

More evidence that the Netherlands are moving backward from a once more tolerable system.
It is not racial hatred to criticize extremism, and silly beliefs. Is there a threat of harm or oppression in the video? I did not see that.
I think that the Dutch government approaches it from the angle that it may incite hatrred, but then cartoons can incite hatred and violence with some groups:)
I feel that an acceptable response to fitna would have been an expose on muslims who are peaceful, rather than supression of Geerts views. Counter it with facts rather than shout it down.
Important post, Sean!! Keep spreading the word. I think it was inevitable that this would happen. I donated $30 to his "Defense Fund" (http://www.geertwilders.nl/)and posted the news on my blog also. Meager way to show support but I am too old for the Army……………Maybe we could get the Herd over at AGP to discuss this?
