A skeptical look at UFO’s

By some chance happening, two of the Skeptical podcasts I listen to happened to present  episodes on the UFO phenomenon.

Brain dunning really impressed me with his break down of The Rendlesham Forest UFO (see wiki article) .  He carefully debunks the myths surrounding what is seen by the “faithful” as one of  the most well documented “government cover ups” of a UFO landing, basically an English Roswell.  Brian manages to create  an entertaining show while at the same time describing techniques of investigating such phenomena skeptically, for our education.

The next podcast was of course the Skeptic Zone with its entire podcast(apart from Tiffany Day’s Astronomy section) focused on UFO’s.

The podcast was very light hearted and conversational in tone and if you are a “true believer” you might find the mirth and rib poking a little too much.

The highlight was of course their UFO expert Dr Steve Roberts and the examination of UFO’s as a cause of tiredness after hiking through the blue mountains all day.
