Barry Eisler happens to be my favourite thriller espionage writer. An ex-CIA employee and Judo exponent, he writes some of the most realistic close combat fighting scenes I have come across.
He also writes a blog The Heart of the Matter and it’s to his latest post that I direct you. Here Barry questions the price that America and by association Australia might have to pay for our journey to the Dark Side, in condoning and carrying out torture. He makes some astute observations check out the post here.
Oh and he has the honor (dubious though it is) of being the first person to ever post a comment on my blog.
