Get a group of five or six ordinary or should that be elite( listener in-joke) blogging Atheist Americans from all over the States, from reasonably diverse backgrounds via Skype, add beer and hit the record button.
It’s conversational in its approach and despite my rather facetious description the show has excellent production values. Audiophiles may decry the quality of the audio, but remember this is a show recording 5-6 Skype lines from different states.
The members spend time before the show emailing and discussing relevant topics and present these in long voice chat session that is recorded, edited and posted later in the week.
The show presents its own original music and has an out takes section at the end of the show.

Sean:
Thanks for the plug — and the positive review. Where do we send the check?
Ex – Sean listens to the podcasts. Do you seriously expect him to take a check?
Sean, thanks for the kind words.
Ex, if Sean won’t take his check, I will.
Sean, thanks for the kind words. I sent a postcard from Atlanta, but the Official AGP Postcards are two-sided, so they’ll have to go via regular mail. I’ll get them out soon.
Guys and Gals,
You are now competing with Non-Prophets for my listening time, so thank you for the thought provocation and musical entertainment(yes I am referring to Evo).
Oh and you have my address but I do take paypal
The show has definitely improved in leaps and bounds since the early shows, though I still don’t understand why the breaks aren’t edited out of the show.
The breaks are intentional for a number of reasons. First, we assume many are drinking while listening (We highly encourage this since it truly improves the listener experience and overall impression of the show) so the pee/get another drink breaks are a courtesy (we’re cool like that). Second, they exist to separate various topics or looks at topics. Third, if you don’t have the luxury of listening straight through, they provide nice digestible chunks that can be listened to at various times.
Anyway, thanks for the plug Sean.
