Above is my letter to the local rag(click on image to get readable version) in response to some verbose catholic propaganda sent in by a Canadian fan of Pope Benedict.
So if you don’t hear from me again they have got me.
Mind you if they don’t get me my letter this Friday(hopefully it’s published) will set both the Mormons and the Assemblies of God on me.
What’s in the other letter? You’ll have to wait and see.

An impressive and well-written letter. I’m glad they were willing to publish it.
Should you perhaps have some sort of code word available (along the lines of badger or platypus) to let us know if you’ve been captured or are posting under duress?
Would this be a good time to make a lame and thoroughly predictable Spanish Inquisition joke?
Also, isn’t it more the Catholic Church’s style these days to get all whiney about how they’re being persecuted by secularists, and point at the good works done by the many Catholics who aren’t Pope Benedict as though they were somehow the end result of the Church’s moral autocracy (while at the same time sexual and emotional abuse aren’t)?
I think the worst you can expect is some snide remark about you being cranky and ‘bringing everyone down, man’. Or if you’re really unlucky, a busload of nuns with rulers.
Nice letter, Sean.
Tungtide,
Thankyou… codeword is elderberries.
SSM,
Yeah I am not really worried. Nuns with rulers sounds a bit kinky though
Funny thing is a few other religious minded folk have openly agreed with me. I was called the antichrist by my boss though
OG,
Thanks.
Nice letter!!
WOOHO!!! Nice one, the SeanONaut!!!! One of your best written that I’ve seen. Well done!
PM and Fiery,
Thanks for the congratulations. It has been met with 99% applause. Either catholics who know me agree or they know that they don’t really have a leg to stand on.
My parents (still catholic, were a little worried) this weeks letter might write me out of the will
though.
Totally excellent letter, Sean. I love it.
Dikkii,
I am hoping to out do this with tomorrow’s letter. Thanks for the compliment.
excellent letter Sean
PD,
Thankyou. Indeed I am encouraged to write more as I have recieved nothing but positive feedback – een from catholics:)
