Dead tree clawing sky
The red sand peaks and troughs
A lonely wind whispers

Very evocative Sean ! I love it
Thankyou Diva. I thought I better jump on the band wagon
wow…that is very cool, beautiful
@wineymomma,
you,psychodiva and donna are responsible for my foray into Haiku.
OMG!! I(?) am partially responsible for something GOOD??
That is one of the nicest things anyone has said lately!!
One question: Did the contrasting
of those 2 colors “say” anything to you?
Very pretty Sean!
ROFL!! I just noticed what your comment section said.
“By commenting here you are actively denying the existence of God.”
@Donna,
You mean the blue and the red? Not really. I wrote the poem then found the picture. The snapshot described by the haiku is totally imagined.
@ambitious,
Yeah it keeps the crazy bible spamming christians away. Oh and thanks for the comment on the poem
That’s even BETTER-that the poem
describes an imagined pic.!
Cause I looked @ that pic and was trying to find “the tree”, then I thought “There must be SOMETHING
I’m not seeing!! I wonder if. . .”
Yep.
Very nicely done Sean.
A stunning visual Sean – loved it and loved the words. All very sensitive for a boy from the bush

The photo is from the net, but resembles closely the image I was trying to construct with the Haiku.
