Traffic

I have been pondering the ways in which visitors get to my blog. I recently posted about ChallengeReligion.com, stuffed if I know how it works – there are some really top Atheist blogs high in the rankings then but on the whole it seems a bit random to me the further down the list you go.

Anywho when looking through my top 10 traffic sources

I note that most of my traffic seems to come through friends/associates blogs. Indeed Planet Atheism is the the only non personal site to direct any traffic my way.

So what to do? Do I want more traffic? Do I crave fame and fortune?

My blog is part Record of my life and part Atheist comment and this I think is good in that it is easy to maintain an ongoing blog on both spheres of interest together than separately. It also demonstrates that an Atheist can live a normal, meaningful and fulfilling life.

So pondering the direction for next year, I think steady as she goes and heading in the same general direction.

I personally think you have the right idea. I find your posts on atheism interesting and thought provoking, but I also enjoy reading about your life and seeing photos. It gives me some insight to your ideas and beliefs and I think that’s cool!

    Thanks Trina,

To tell you the truth I don’t know that I could change my style all that much.

I have also looked at the people I visit regularly, I think its their lives, sense of humour that attracts me more. Indeed my online friends are very similar to the sorts of people who surround me in my offline life.
