Our beloved leader John Winston Howard has provided 1 million dollars for an inaugural Christmas parade to be held in Sydney. It will be held on November 25th. It is intended to be similar to Thanksgiving and Christmas parades in the States.
Fuck off and die(a political death) Mr Howard or better yet move to the States.

As for the parade crap and Christmas itself, I am already getting Christmas fatigue. The stores here have stocked the shelves with Christmas displays, lights, decorations. Before Thanksgiving I will have completely abandoned all thoughts of enjoying the period from the solstice to the new year.
