Having recieved my Atheist hoody from cafe press. I have been wearing it everyday for the past week, to work, down the street anywhere I can. The comments, which have been few are all positive with one person asking me where to buy it.

Now I want to move to Australia! Plus the cool-ass accents. I wonder if it would take a whole week for me to start thinking in Australian. It only took 2 days in England before I was thinking in an English accent.

We’re just hitting the beginning of summer here and I H-A-T-E the heat. Really bad. *sigh* I wish we coud skip summer and go straight to fall.

No it’s a long way from where we are roughly 1500-2000kms. Thanks for the find thoughts though. I din’t even realise a state of emergency had been declared.

There are actually several distinct “dialects” not anywhere as distinct as the English accents or the americans. But you can tell someones home state by the pronunciations of certain words.
I di dhave to wash the sweatshirt, but only cause a spilt fish oil on it.
And yes its starting to get chilly, probably not cold by yours or psychodiva’s standards – 1 degree celcius
I’m gonna look into buying myself an Atheist hoody. I’m interested in the types of reactions I would receive. I doubt all of my comments will be positive though.

I bet your experiment would deliver vastly different results if you lived in a Texas town. It’s so conservative here..except Austin is pretty much ok…it’s a little oasis in Texas.

Are you allowed to carry concealed firearms in Texas. In which case I may have to wear my “I am an atheist and a Gun owner t-shirt”.
I do find it interesting that while America is touted as the Land of the Free and your rights to free speech are enshrined in legislation that there seems to be so little tolerance.
