One of the shows I regularly like to watch is the ABC’s(Australian Broadcasting Commissions) The Chaser’s War on Everything, irreverent and topical these guys are intelligent, funny and willing to put their safety/careers on the line.
They generally pull stunts to highlight topics that should be of concern to the Australian public, to snap us out of the apathy caused by political spin.
In a recent showing they caught up with Sheik Hilaly, a twit of a Muslim Mufti who has made several gaffes that belie his true feelings and thoughts when it comes to women. The sheik has been pulled up so many times that he suggested that he should tape his own mouth shut.
Well the Chasers put him to the test meeting him at the airport with a roll of gaffer tape. Let’s say the Sheik did not see the funny side and was quite angry, and agressive, used to being in control I suspect.
Certainly not peaceful
